AN ALTERNATIVE TO STANDARD LIGHT CORDS

           

Did you know there is an alternative to dedicated, proprietary light cords?  Most rigid endoscopy light cords have a fixed distal end specific to the instrument manufacturer and a fixed proximal end specific to the light source manufacturer.  A universal unit allows one light cord to be used with a combination of the most popular endoscopes and light sources. 

The value-add for a universal light cord is its adapter kit.  The light cord can be ordered with end tip adapters for a specific application or with a kit of the most popular adapters to fit a combination of scopes and light sources from popular manufacturers like:  Storz, Olympus, Wolf, and ACMI.  The adapters are also offered individually, to match customer equipment inventory.  Designed and manufactured to OEM specifications, the adapters are durable, fit perfectly, and are a fraction of the cost of multiple, dedicated light cords.  Replacement adapter end tips are available and a universal light cord can be repaired just like a standard light cord.
